Premier Team: Premier team is for gymnasts who are serious or ready to get serious about competition. Routines will get progressively harder developing skills and techniques for long term success. As the difficulty is increasing, perfecting skills and routines will also increase as gymnasts move up and competition gets more intense. Gymnasts will use practice meets to prepare, and travel meets to compete and perform. Travel meets are usually around New Orleans, Shreveport, Hammond, and Lafayette. Some groups who are prepared and training hard may also be invited to national competitions outside of Louisiana.
High School Team: We offer training for High School boys and girls who would like to represent their High School in Gymnastics events. Students do not have to be in High School to join this training group. It is also a great class for older (12 - 16 year old) gymnasts to train with out the stress of Olympic style competitions. They can compete for fun representing GymU or their High School… or just learn the skills and routines for their own enjoyment and feeling of accomplishment.
